Van Puijenbroek Textiel takes over shares in Alberto Design BV

On 1 January 2012, Van Puijenbroek Textiel, the owner of the HaVeP and Bucofa brands, took over the shares in Alberto Design BV. “This bureau produces clothing patterns and designs and has a great deal of experience in work clothing”, says Rob Kwaspen, one of the directors of Van Puijenbroek Textiel. “A good partner for us, whose help will be invaluable in making our product development more professional.”

Customer focus
The takeover is in line with Van Puijenbroek Textiel's strategy. The company recently started building a quick response unit in Macedonia so that it can produce clothes even faster. With the takeover of Alberto Design, Van Puijenbroek Textiel has also acquired clothing designs and will be able to focus even more effectively on customers' requirements. Kwaspen: “In this way, we can not only supply our customers more quickly, we are also more flexible. This gives us strength for the growth that we wish to achieve.”

Relocation
Alberto Design will relocate to Van Puijenbroek Textiel's head office in Goirle in order to maximise the benefits for both companies. Albert Wagenaar and his team will remain active and will also be recognisable in the new setting as Alberto Design. Albert Wagenaar: “Our high-quality services based on personal attention and direct contact will continue in the same way”. Both parties are satisfied with the result that has been achieved. By utilising each other's knowledge and contacts, they expect to be able to increase their market share.
