HaVeP & Working Conditions

HaVeP’s parent company, Van Puijenbroek Textiel, is one of the first textile companies in the Netherlands to participate in the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). FWF pursues good working conditions in the production of clothing. Participating in FWF means that Van Puijenbroek Textiel is committed to achieving good working conditions in factories where its clothing is manufactured. Van Puijenbroek Textiel does so in accordance with the FWF method.

The cooperation is based on the Code of Conduct developed by FWF. Participating companies endorse this Code of Conduct and actively, effectively and systematically do their utmost to monitor the working conditions at their producers’ factories and to improve these long-term where necessary. FWF checks whether this actually takes place.
