EN532 flame spread testing - KA fabric quality |
HaVeP’s new work shirt is EN 531A compliant and passes the EN 532 limited flame spread test. See film.
The test consists of applying a flame horizontally to a slightly tensioned strip of the sample fabric for a fixed time of 10 seconds. To pass the test, the after-flame and smouldering times must be less than 2 seconds and no holes may be formed in the sample.
HaVeP's KA fabric quality (99% cotton/1% Negastat, Proban, approx. 205 g/m2) passed the test with flying colours.
